The Drain Surgeon Franchising Africa (Pty) Ltd is a full member of The Franchise Association of South Africa (FASA) and operates its franchise opportunity in accordance with FASA Code of Ethics and Business Practices.

The Electro Clinic (Pty) Ltd, a member of The Drain Surgeon Group, has been a full member of FASA from 1993 to 2000. In view of the fact that the modus operandi of The Drain Surgeon and The Electro Clinic are virtually identical, and taking escalating membership fees levied by FASA into account, we decided to terminate the FASA membership of The Electro Clinic (Pty) Ltd that took effect from 31.12.2000. Please note that we will continue to operate The Electro Clinic franchise substantially in accordance with FASA's Code of Ethics and Business Practices.

The Drain Surgeon Group has been established since 1979 and operates a growing number of service franchises involved in maintenance of commercial and residential properties. The franchises can be operated individually, for example, a franchisee may acquire the rights to operate a plumbing repair service under The Drain Surgeon banner, while another franchisee may acquire the rights to operate an electrical repair service under The Electro Clinic banner with the same territory. Subject to availability and performance and the sole discretion of the principal, new or existing franchisees may acquire to provide additional services. Subject to availability, one franchisee, could for example, operate The Drain Surgeon plumbing repair service and The Electro Clinic electrical repair service from the same premises, thereby sharing overheads and maximizing the expected return on investment.
